My guitar is an acoustic I've had for years. The neck is cracking, so it could break at any time. I'd like to replace it before that happens, leaving me heart-broken (guitar-broken?). A few years ago in a Denver guitar store I tried out a Parker Fly electric guitar with a MIDI controller. It was amazing! I've never played a better guitar before or since. The carbon fiber neck was slick and thin, the strings were so easy to press correctly and the body was light. With that guitar alone, I be another Hendrix or Clapton! But the kicker was the MIDI pick-up. Normal strings transformed into drums, pianos, and choirs with the flip of a few buttons! As a mad computer scientist, I could use that MIDI box to do all kinds of nifty tricks that would blow Thomas Dolby and Herbie Hancock's minds! But . . . These tools aren't cheap. I sure could use some help getting my hands on the gear. With your help, I can use a Parker Fly with MIDI to make more music, and new kinds of sound never heard before! Won't you please donate my Guitar Replacement Fund today?
